SSR Mounted, Heater, SSR and Power Monitor Low Cost Heater / Loop Break Alarm
The SSRMON is designed for monitoring the condition of an SSR (solid state relay) and its load circuit. The SSRMON mounts directly on top of any standard SSR via the connection terminals and monitors the drive and output to detect open heater /load, loss of line and DC power, shorted SSR, etc. The SSRMON provides a bright green normally illuminated LED as well as a versatile normally closed relay output which can be easily integrated into your control system or connecting to your PLC. The SSRMON operates from 12 or 24 VDC power and can be used for detection in 100 to 660VAC applications. The SSRMON is about the simplest lowest cost heater break alarm solution available.
True RMS Current Controller
The NWCC is a closed loop current controller that provides PID control of a phase angle driven load circuit. The True RMS current is sensed by an on board isolated current transducer. The current setpoint is set by an external command signal or the on board potentiometer. The current command input accepts 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA, Potentiometer, etc. The major advantage to the NWCC is that it can accurately sense and quickly control the True RMS current of phase controlled loads. This regulates the load current, limits inrush and current demand under load changes. The NWCC is designed to be used in conjunction with the NuWave SSRMAN-1P series phase controls or with any phase control.
True RMS Current Transformer
The NWCT is a current transformer/transducer that provides a 0-10V or 4-20mA output that is proportional to the current signal present on the conductor passed through the onboard sense transformer. The major advantage to the NWCT is that it can accurately sense nonlinear and distorted sinusoidal signals such as phase controlled loads and provide a True RMS conversion of the signal. Less sophisticated current transformer units suffer from severely inaccurate conversion of these types of signals. This is because they tend to respond only to the instantaneous peaks of the signal which have nothing to do with the actual current present in the load circuit. The NWCT is a major improvement over these designs, offering greater accuracy, stability and flexibility.
Wire Lead Current Transformer P/N CR8450-1000
The new CR8400 series of wire lead transformers provides a high quality solution, at low cost for current sensing. Major applications include ground fault relays, current measurements, power monitoring and over/under current sensing. This series of transformers provides the benefit of a high accuracy remote monitor for cost sensitive projects. They are epoxy encapsulated to provide protection from the environment. Electrical insulation is rated at 100M ohm @ 500 Vdc. Detailed information is available for operation in 50 to 400 Hz systems. The CR8400 series of current transformers are constructed using core material of a high grade laminated nickel alloy or silicon steel material. The styles have window opening sizes of .232" to .610" diameter with .709", to 1.181" O.D.

The microprocessor based SSRMAN-1P phase angle control module is designed for use in a broad range of power control applications using a solid state relay. The SSRMAN-1P mounts directly on the input terminals of an SSR and converts it into a low cost phase angle controller by providing true linear power control of the load via the SSR's logic input. Using the SSRMAN-1P with the appropriate SSR for your load will provide a modular feature packed high isolation SCR power control at a very low price.

True linear power output phase angle control
The microprocessor based SSRMAN-1P-CL mounts directly on the input terminals of an SSR and provides true linear power phase angle control of the load. The output power is based on the command input and the current feedback from the current transformer. The command can be dip switch selected from over seven different industry standard inputs. Using the SSRMAN-1P-CL with the appropriate SSR for your load will provide a modular feature packed high isolation SCR power control at a very low price.
Microprocessor Controlled SSR Mounted Burst Firing (Time Proportioning Control) Module
The SSRMAN-1B's output power is proportional to the command input which can be selected from eight different industry standard inputs. User configurable features such as Power Limit make the SSRMAN-1B a perfect fit for any power control application. Power Limit is set via a potentiometer and will limit the voltage on your load by limiting the duty cycle allowed on the output. The SSRMAN-1B can be used with random fire or zero cross fired solid state relays.
Fast Synchronous Burst Firing Module
The SSRMAN-1BFS is a zero cross burst firing control module designed for use with standard footprint random fire SSRs (Solid State Relays). The module mounts directly on the SSR's input screws and provides 0-100% fast synchronous zero cross burst firing (time proportioning) based on the input signal. The module operates by varying duty cycle of SSR's control input synchronous to the AC line. The power delivered to the load is proportional to the command input signal. The SSRMAN-1BFS can be dipswitch configured for up to six different industry command signals and four different cycle times.

4-20mA Loop Powered Burst Firing with Zero and Span pots and LED
The SSRMAN-1LP burst firing module is deigned for use in a broad range of power control applications where an external power supply is not available. The SSRMAN-1LP mounts directly on the input connections of an SSR and provides precise 0-100% time proportioned drive based on the input signal. The SSRMAN-1LP loop powered burst firing module converts a 4 to 20mA output signal from a process or temperature controller or computer to a time proportioned pulse drive to an SSR thereby controlling the average power to your load (typically electric heaters).

The microprocessor based SSRTC mounts directly on the input terminals of an SSR and provides a low cost temperature control solution. Temperature sensing is accomplished using a thermistor available in many different termination options.

The NWUPCM-1P is a phase angle control module designed for use with Solid State Relays or high power back to back SCR modules. The power delivered to the load is proportional to the command input signal.
Universal Power Control Module Burst Firing Version
The NWUPCM-1B is a burst fire control module designed for use with Solid State Relays or high power back to back SCR modules. The power delivered to the load is proportional to the command input signal.
Inductive Load Power Control Module Phase Angle SCR Driver
The microprocessor based NWIPCM-1P provides true linear phase angle of SCRs for resistive and inductive loads. The output power is proportional to the command input which can be dip switch selected from six different industry standard inputs. The high current gate drive is suitable for large SCRs.
SCR Gate Driver Board - Zero Cross Fired
The NWZC-SCR is suitable for driving back to back SCRs in single or polyphase resistive load applications. The NWZC-SCR in combination with back to back SCRs produces and economical high current solid state relay.

Single Zone Low Cost OEM Temperature Controller
The NWTC-1 is the lowest cost temperature controller in our catalog. It is designed for high volume fixed setpoint applications. The NWTC-1 is factory set for your setpoint and hysteresis but can be adjusted slightly in the field. The NWTC-1 provides an SSR drive output, accepts either thermocouple or RTD and operates from 24VAC/DC power. Minimum orders of 100 pieces apply to waive the setup charges for your temperature range and sensor.
